The Cenarussa Foundation dinner honors Pete Cenarrusa, who worked his way from a sheepherder's camp to the statehouse and became Idaho's Secretary of State, and supports the foundation that bears his name.
The setting includes sheep wagons, campfires, outside cooking, and entertainment by members of Boise's Basque community. Dinner traditionally features authentic Basque camp cooking and more for all ages.
This year our barbeque will be held September 10, 2010.
The event will include music, cocktails, raffles, and entertainment! The following is a schedule of events:
5:30 Music & Cocktails 6:30 Lamb Dinner
Dessert, Presentations by Cenarrusa Foundation grantees, Raffle drawing & Exhibition by Pelotariak in the Fronton to follow.
